Jordan's First Trip

We had an AMAZING time in AZ! J was great on both plane flights. We made his first trip to the Phoenix Zoo, Mariner's Spring Training, The Wildlife park and Aquarium, the pool,  and many shopping trips! While we were down there, J's third tooth broke through and he started to crawl!!
I just want to say "thank you" to my parents who took us on this trip, we loved spending time with you!

Happy 101st Birthday to Great Great Grandma B!

Today we celebrated Grandma B's birthday while eating lunch in the dining area of her home. It was great to see everyone and we had a great time catching up. Grandma B is one fiesty lady and still kicking at 101 years of age! Oh the things she has seen in her life! Here is a picture of all of us- a rare photo!

Update

I know, I know.... I have neglected the blog and I am deeply sorry! We have been so busy with me returning to work and getting ready for Jordan's first vacation!
He has been growing like a weed- now over 19 lbs!!
Also experiencing so many firsts...
We started solid foods right around the six month mark. It has been going really well and of course, J is a natural at eating :)
Foods he likes:
Sweet potatoes
Yams
Pears
Bananas
Mum Mums
Puffs
Foods he dislikes:
Apples
Carrots
Peas
Lentils
He is on the verge of crawling! He gets up on all fours and rocks, then gets really frustrated because he's not moving!
Also, he has said a few words- daddy, dada, and doggy. Still no mama! Unless he's mad!
We are so blessed to have such a wonderfully happy and joyous child!

Zoolights

We went to Zoolights in Tacoma last weekend with my parents and brother. J loved looking at all of the lights, but then fell asleep. I think it was a tad cold out and he was very comfortable snuggled up with me in the Ergo carrier. Here are some pics from our night. Sorry there aren't many, the camera battery died :(
